Parking Permits

The Parking Permit application will be coming soon!

Parking Policy

Student Parking is a privilege.  All student vehicles parking on campus must be registered with the campus via this completed application. A current Parking Permit must be displayed daily. A new parking permit must be purchased for each car and each school year.
  • Parking permits will be sold for $30 to students who are registered MECHS students, have a valid Texas Driver’s License, and provide Proof of Insurance with student’s name on the policy.
  • A Parking Permit must be purchased for each Student Driver.  Parking Permits cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
  • Vehicles not in compliance with the above Parking Policy are subject to be ticketed and/or towed if violations persist.

Parking Rules

  • The speed limit on campus is 10 miles per hour.
  • Parking for students will be strictly limited to the designated student parking area.  No double parking!
  • A student with a fraudulently obtained parking permit may lose their parking privileges for the remainder of the year.
  • No loitering in the Parking Lot before school, after school, or during lunch.
  • Student’s vehicles are subject to search at any time, with or without the presence of the student.
  • Repeated violations may result in the loss of Parking Privileges and vehicle may be towed at owner’s expense.  If Parking Privileges are suspended, the Parking Permit will be invalidated.  A new Parking Permit must be purchased if the Parking Privileges are reinstated.
  • Serious traffic violations such as speeding, unsafe or reckless driving, evading, or repeated traffic violations will result in the loss of Parking Privileges (along with other possible consequences).  A Parent Conference may be required if a new application is submitted for Parking Privileges to be reinstated.
  • If a student has excessive unexcused absences or chronic tardiness to any class, their Parking Privileges may be removed until the student shows improvement in their attendance or for a set period of time to be determined by MECHS Administration.

Any moving traffic violations, parking violations, or policy violations may result in administrative consequences and/or a citation by New Braunfels Police Department or any other law enforcement office that may be on campus.
